Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

Course Timeline:

MGI PGDM program is ideal for students aiming to develop illustrious career and wish to seek promising opportunities.


Learning Program:

Competency driven learning program at MGI blends concept, theories and information with development of cognitive, social, emotional and leadership competencies. Post Graduate Program at MGI is spread over six trimesters that includes classroom learning, action oriented development and clearly focused culture and values.


Teaching Methodology:

At MGI, multiple teaching methods are3 used. Lectures, case analysis, group projects, business simulations, management games. Live assignments, syndicates etc. form the core of the learning program. Students are divided into groups of 10-12 for syndicates and 5-6 for group projects in each course. The program structure is developed in such a manner that it strikes a perfect balance between conceptual and practical skills. It fosters the development of the following competencies essential for today’s competitive environment.

Summer Internship:

Summer internship is a requisite part of MGI curriculum which helps the students to gain experience thereby enhancing their knowledge, understanding of management problem, operational issues and functioning of the corporate. The duration of summer internship program is around 8-10 weeks.


Grading System:

The class shall be awarded to the student on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by him in all two years (Part I and II).

The award of Class is as follows:

Sr. No. Percentage Grade
(i) Aggregate 70% and above: First Class with Distinction.
(ii) Aggregate 60% and above but less than 70%: First Class.
(iii) Aggregate 55% and above but less than 60%: Higher Second Class
(iv) Aggregate 50% and above but less than 55%: Second Class.
(v) Aggregate 40% and above but less than 50%: Pass Class.
(vi) Below 40%: Fail.
